4 pm – 8 pm – Packet pick up at the McAllen Convention Center – Runners/Cyclists pick-up packet for 5 / 10K Run for Justice Family Run & Walk and Pedal Against Crime 60, 40 and 25 mile ride.

12 pm – Cowboy Q’ing Cook off – Cook off teams can start set-up at McAllen Convention Center enter on 29th Street

5:30 am – 7:00 a.m. Packet pick up – If picking up packets Friday morning, be prepared to wait in line for a while. Best to pick packet on Friday, August 4th to avoid a mad dash for late registration.

7:00 a.m. Darling’s Dare Cycling Ride – 25, 40 and 60 mile ride starts
Ride starts at the west side of the Oval Park at the McAllen Convention Center, and the ride heads south of the convention center to frontage road south on Ware Road to Military Highway and west towards La Joya (See Google maps for route link on Viva McAllen Streets Face Book )
Registration on Eventbrite: $25
Late Registration: $30

7:30 a.m.  5K/10K Run For Justice Family Run and Walk
Race starts at Oval Park at McAllen Convention Center. The 5 / 10k will head south at Convention Center Blvd. to Ithaca Ave. to 29th Street head north to McAuliffe Park and head back south to the finish line at the McAllen Convention Center.
Registration on Eventbrite: $12
Late Registration: $15

9:00 a.m. Kids Run around the oval park
(Parents can sign up their children on Eventbrite to register their kids for the run in order to get their free pass to the “Back to School Supplies” Fair.)

9:00 a.m. Kids Bike Rodeo – McAllen Police Department & Run, Ride & Share

9:00 a.m. “Back to School Supplies” Fair on westside of the McAllen Convention Center
H-E-B and the McAllen Police Department will be hosting a “Back to School Supplies” Fair. Parents can sign up their children on Eventbrite to register their kids for the run in order to get their free pass to the “Back to School Supplies” Fair.

9:00 a.m. Cowboy Q’ing Against Crime Cook-off
(Set up on Friday, August 4th west of the McAllen Convention Center,
Sanctioned by the International Barbecue Cookers Association (IBCA))
Registration $200 for a four man team
Jackpot $25 per entry of fajitas, beans, and pan de campo

10:00 a.m. – Speaker on Mainstage (TBA)

5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Cowboy Q’ing Cook-off Award Presentations
